Dr Arti Sharma

Dr Arti Sharma is one of the recent members of The Smile Studios team. Dr Sharma has graduated from the renowned Kings College London Dental School, and continues to work in general dentistry building her restorative skills as a Practitioner. She later developed a special interest in Oral Surgery hence applied successfully for a position at the Royal Surrey County Hospital as a Maxillofacial Senior House Officer. Here she worked along side leading Maxillofacial consultants who specialised in head and neck cancer and jaw surgery. During this time Dr Sharma became proficient at difficult tooth extractions, minor oral surgery, facial trauma and cancer screening.

Wisdom Tooth Problem Richmond: Dr Sharma’s experience working in an accident and emergency department means that she is a confident practitioner able to deal with acute dental needs and dental trauma. For instance facial swellings, wisdom teeth issues, dental abscesses or first line when your child has knocked out a tooth! Dr Sharma not only holds a first class honours degree in Genetics but a Bachelors in Dental Surgery and has also successfully completed an additional post graduate qualification the Diploma of the Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at The Royal College of Surgeons of England which has helped tie her passions of general dental and oral surgery. Dr Sharma is currently enrolling in Orthodontic courses and in the future hopes to hold a further Masters Degree in Sedation and special care dentistry. Here at The Smile Studios we are passionate about providing the most up to date and thorough treatment for our patients and hence continually update our skills.

Dr Sharma is an empathetic dentist who is very good with patient’s of all ages, she is able to treat very young children without the need for sedation or referral. This ensures that all nervous patients are very welcome and cared for professionally!
