Juvederm — long lasting injectable dermal filler gel

Juvederm Injections are commonly used to smooth out mild to moderate face wrinkles, plump lips, and improve acne scars.
What is Juvederm?

Juvederm is a long-lasting injectable dermal filler gel containing hyaluronic acid which can fill out wrinkles and plump up sunken areas.

What’s involved in Juvederm treatment?

Juvederm treatment normally takes under 30 minutes. First, the area to be treated is cleaned and an anaesthetic cream or solution is applied to reduce discomfort. Once this has taken effect, small amounts of Juvederm gel are injected at carefully selected points using a fine needle.
You can leave the clinic immediately after treatment. Juvederm is one of the longest-lasting dermal fillers and one treatment can last for up to 18 months, although the effects may diminish much more quickly for some people.

How long will it take me to recover from Juvederm treatment?

You may have a little swelling or bruising, but this will diminish quickly and doesn’t usually last more than 2 days.

What are the risks of Juvederm treatment?

There is a small risk of infection and you may experience some redness or itching, although this is usually short-lived. There is also the risk of an unsatisfactory result, either because of a lumpy appearance or asymmetry.

How much will Juvederm treatment cost?

Prices for Juvederm treatments range from £170 to £400 per vial, but more than one vial may be required depending on the area to be treated, so fees for a full Juvederm treatment may be up to £650.
