"Scalp scars can be suitable for hair transplantation in certain circumstances. There needs to be an adequate donor hair supply at the sides and/or back of your head.The scar needs to be mature and have enough tissue over the skull to make incisions in order to insert the follicular unit grafts.You should have a face to face consultation with a hair transplant surgeon who will advise you on your suitability as well as what is involved with the procedure."
