Radiesse
  • I have sunken cheeks
  • I have uneven skin
  • I have wrinkles

By increasing the plumpness of the skin and adding volume, Radiesse® is able to diminish the appearance of deeper lines and wrinkles.

Radiesse® dermal fillers can be used on areas that have lost volume and elasticity, such as the hands and face. As we age, our skin loses some of its natural collagen, fat and hyaluronic acid, which help to maintain healthy looking skin and prevent it from sagging. The loss of volume also results in wrinkles and fine lines appearing.

Dermal fillers work by adding volume and plumping the skin. However, while other dermal fillers use hyaluronic acid, Radiesse® uses calcium hydroxylapatite. The base of Radiesse® means it encourages natural collagen growth to provide long lasting results. After a single treatment, patients will notice a difference in the appearance of their skin, even improving the appearance of severe wrinkles and deeper lines.

At the beginning of your treatment, the area where the filler will be injected will be numbed using a topical anaesthetic. The calcium hydroxylapatite that forms the dermal filler bonds to allow the patient’s own tissue to grow new collagen. The result is firmer, fuller skin that looks youthful.
The Radiesse® is broken down and metabolised by the body gradually but the new collagen structure remains, meaning the results continue. Further treatment will eventually be needed but results can last up to two years depending on the individual.

Like all dermal fillers, the body gradually breaks down Radiesse®. However, the process takes longer than other fillers, meaning results are longer lasting. By increasing the plumpness of the skin and adding volume, Radiesse® is able to diminish the appearance of deeper lines and wrinkles.

Radiesse® can also be used to improve the appearance of ageing hands. It can help to hide the appearance of unsightly veins and a boney look caused by fat loss and thin skin.

Depending on the treatment area, prices for Radiesse® injections range from £200 to £500 per session.

I had cheek fillers that really made a subtle but very flattering difference to my face, I looked fresher and more youthful and would definitely have them done again
