I'm a bit of a nervous patient and so I'm glad I've found a friendly and professional practice who really know what they are doing. Been going there for for 10 years and I refuse to change dentists even though I've moved and it takes me 30 minutes to get there!

This is a private dentist. This is an expensive dentist. This is my dentist. Now, my teeth are not perfect, but then I hate going to the dentist and tend to only visit when they hurt. The side effect of that practice is that when I go to the dentist they stop my teeth from hurting but make my wallet cry out in agony. I have to say though, that it is well worth it here. I used to go to an NHS dentist. I'm NOT saying that it means they are rubbish, I'm saying that it means you don't necessarily get the best treatment available as resources are being stretched the whole time. However, when I told that dentist that they were hurting me even though I had been numbed up, and they ignored me, I was a little concerned. A second opinion from another NHS dentist and WCDE led me to the conclusion that my original dentist had butchered my gnashers. I was more than a little cross and wasn't about to go back. WCDE couldn't have been nicer - from the receptionist to the dentists, it was all a very pleasant experience. The surgery itself is big, modern, clean and cool. You feel comfortable and relaxed the minute you walk in, and as it's so 'exclusive' you actually feel a bit better about being there than in the oft-found converted semi-detached buildings that serve as NHS dentists. The range of treatments and solutions available are extensive to say the least. They even offer botox, other minor cosmetic surgery, stop-snoring treatments, whitening and others. To remedy what had been caused by my previous dentist I was offered several options. I went for the most expensive, but longest lasting solution, and that was a porcelain filling. I was measured up, gelled etc. and then they laser model the new one, while you wait, and put it in. No problem, no complication, no pain. It was a fantastic experience as dentist visits go. My wife has also had extensive work done here and has been delighted every time. Don't just take my word for it though, in a shameless claim of elitism when Posh and Becks are at the Palace this is where they go - what better recommendation could you want? Don't believe me? Google Ware Centre Of Dental Excellence Beckham and you will find a good number of pages about Posh's visits. If you live around the area, and are dissatisfied with your current molar-maintenance provider then you could do a lot worse for standards of care. Just be sure to take your savings with you. Cost is the only reason this doesn't get a maximum rating though.
